In most cases a Fly-Fisher needs two licenses. Fisheries management fee and local license.
If you intend to fish in Finland and you are between the ages of 18 and 64 (after your 18th birthday and before the 65th), you must pay the fisheries management fee. You can pay the fee for a calendar year, a week ( 7 days) or for one day. Payment of the fisheries management fee grants you the right to fish in nearly the entire country using one rod.
Paying the fisheries management fee does not grant the right to fish in all water areas. Anglers who have paid the fisheries management fee cannot fish in protected water areas, special destinations that require separate permits or in rapids and running waters with migratory fish stocks. The no fishing zones may be viewed at Kalastusrajoitus.fi.
The Finnish Fishing Act requires that the payment transaction is logged into a fisheries management fee payment register together with some payer information.
The fisheries management fee is an individual fee. As they pay the fee, anglers are asked for their name, contact information and date of birth (but not their personal identification number).
A person may also pay the fisheries management fee on someone else's behalf, in which case the payer must enter their own information as well as the information of the person on whose behalf the payment is made.
You can pay the fisheries management fee online using the most common payment methods. In phone service (9am - 4pm) or at the nearest permit service point or R-kioski. When paying the fee at an R-Kioski store, a delivery fee of €3 is added to the price. Service number for wilderness permits: +358 20 69 2424 or internet
You can buy from a Fishing Shop, Gas Station, Camping, Hotel etc. and from the owner of the fishing rights of the water.
